Type any problem — a math question, a word problem, a science question — or take a photo of your worksheet / upload a picture or PDF of it. The tutor will restate it, offer one hint (never the final answer), ask a guiding question, and suggest a tiny first step. Then you try, and the tutor checks your attempt.
The tutor runs right here in your browser and is Socratic by design: hints and questions, not answers to copy. Photos and files stay on this device with your profile — nothing is sent anywhere — and tutor chats don't count toward your 10 free lessons a day. Pip can't read every word in a photo, so if a picture is blurry or handwritten, Pip will ask you to type the problem out.

Reach parents on Pip's Learning World
Pip's Learning World is a K–12 practice site families use for Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies. Advertising lives in one place only: the Grown-ups page, which sits behind a grown-up math check and is read by parents. Your ad is seen by grown-ups — never by kids, and never inside a lesson.
What a sponsor gets
- Placement on the Grown-ups page — the page parents open for progress reports, Premium, and site news
- Your choice of slot: the wide leaderboard (728 × 90) at the top of the promotions section, or the rectangle (300 × 250) beside it
- Your business name, message, and one link to your own website
- A full calendar month per booking — your ad stays up the whole month, not a few impressions
- A clearly labeled "Advertisement" / "Sponsored" spot, so parents know exactly what it is

These are starter rates set by the owner and may change as the site grows. The price you book at is the price you pay for that month — no surprise increases mid-booking.
The rules (they keep this a site families trust)
- Family-friendly only. Products and services suitable for the parents of K–12 kids: tutoring, books, classes, family activities, school supplies, and similar. Nothing adult, misleading, or aimed at getting kids to ask for purchases.
- The owner approves every sponsor and every ad before it goes live — and can decline or remove any ad that doesn't fit.
- No ads are ever shown to kids in lessons. Sponsorship stays on the Grown-ups page, behind the grown-up check. Kids' areas — Home, Learn, Tutor, Studio, My Work, Placement — are 100% ad-free.
- One business per slot per month; ads are labeled "Advertisement" or "Sponsored" at all times.
How booking works
Tell us your business, which slot you want, and the month you'd like. The owner checks it against the rules above.
If it's a fit, the owner sends a Square invoice for the slot. Pay it by card or Cash App Pay — that's the whole checkout.
Send your ad artwork or text + link, and it appears on the Grown-ups page for your booked month.
Booking is handled personally by the owner — there's no instant checkout on this page, and no payment is taken until the owner has approved your ad and sent the Square invoice.

Learning progress stays on your device
XP, stars, completed topics, placement-test results, lesson counts, and Mascot Studio choices are saved only in the browser on the device being used. They are not sent to us or to any server, and we cannot see them.
Sign-in profiles are device profiles
The Sign in feature creates learner profiles that live on that one device only — like picking a profile on a streaming app. A profile is just a name and an optional PIN or secret word set by a grown-up. We do not collect accounts, email addresses, or passwords from kids, and nothing about a profile leaves the device. Clearing the browser's site data deletes the profiles and progress stored there.
Tutor uploads and My Work files stay on the device
Photos and PDFs shared with the AI Tutor, notes written in My Work, and PDFs opened there are handled on the device only. Photos are kept as small copies in the browser with the learner's profile; PDFs are opened straight from the device and are not uploaded anywhere. No file a child shares is sent to us or to any third party.
The AI Tutor runs in the browser
The tutor's hints are generated right on the page. Problems a child types are not transmitted to an outside AI service.
Advertising — Grown-ups area only
Kids' areas of this site (Home, Learn, Placement Test, AI Tutor, Mascot Studio, and My Work) show no advertising at all. The Grown-ups area — a parents' section behind a grown-up check — may show ads, including ads served by third-party advertising networks. Those networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure their ads, under their own privacy policies. Direct sponsor ads on that page are placed by the site owner and don't track visitors. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Payments
Premium subscriptions are handled by Square. When real checkout is live, payment details go to Square — never to this site — and are covered by Square's own privacy policy. The checkout currently shown on the site is a labeled demo and takes no payment.
Children's privacy
This site is designed so that no personal information needs to be collected from children: no sign-up forms for kids, no emails requested from kids, no chat with strangers, and no ads in kids' areas. Parents can review everything a profile holds right in the Grown-ups area progress report, and can erase it by clearing the browser's site data.
